(October 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th)
Fright has evolved through the support of thousands of fans and volunteers to become one of the top 10 Halloween destinations in New England. The event is held over five nights attracting 12 to 15,000 visitors each year.
In the past, scare seekers waited hours to buy tickets, blocked traffic for miles in every direction and complained about being rushed through the usual 20 minute tour. A result of its own success, we have moved our Fright event to an Online Ticket Sale Only model. After two pandemic years, we believe guests are more familiar with pre-purchasing and it will reduce traffic/parking issues and offer a more satisfying Fright experience.
The Friends of Fort Knox want to thank all the past participants for their part in making Fright such a huge success. Fright has been our biggest fundraiser for 20 consecutive years with proceeds being a large portion of budget used to operate, maintain and accomplish preservation/renovation projects so the Fort can be enjoyed by future generations as well.
We hope to go big to make up for this year. We are still seeking volunteers to be jump scares, spooks, makeup artists, sound/light technicians, puppeteers, prop builders and set designers. Please inquire at info@fortknoxmaine.com or call our office 207-469-6553.
