2019 Scottish Military Tattoo

is now scheduled for

August 31st, 6 to 7 pm

The Anah Highlanders http://www.anahhighlanders.com/ will be performing this year's Scottish Military Tattoo at Fort Knox!

What is a military tattoo? Origins in 17th Century when a drum or trumpet was sounded from the military bases to tell nearby pubs and inns to "turn off the taps" and troops to return to the barracks.

Fort Knox proudly welcomes back this popular annual event featuring traditional Scottish Military bagpipers, drummers, precision marching bands and a patriotic salute to America . Bring your lawn chairs and blankets (and bug spray!)and take up a space on the Fort's Parade Grounds to watch as the Anah Highlanders marching band offers a unique cultural experience performing various tattoos while demonstrating precision unit movements . A truly amazing event.

Cost: $8 per person or $4 for children 12 and under.  Buy tickets online below (includes processing fee) or buy "At-the-Door" on the night of the event. At-the-Door sales start at 5pm.
